Katelyn Niemiec, the current Miss Arizona 2016, is an accomplished speaker/presenter. An ASU Honors graduate of Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, 22-year-old Katelyn Niemiec is a passionate advocate for the prevention of bullying, having devoted more than 5,000 hours to her personal platform. Her program, Bullying S.T.O.P.S. Here, has been shared in 8 districts in Arizona and workshops across the valley over the past seven years. Additionally, Katelyn serves as Vice-President for Winged Hope Family Advocacy Foundation, where she has raised $7,000 to benefit survivors of child abuse and domestic violence. A sports fanatic, she reported on Super Bowl XLIX and has hosted a show on Fox Sports Arizona.
Katelyn speaks regularly to schools, business groups and conferences about Bullying Prevention, Female Leadership, and Overcoming Challenges.
