Myriam Cruz is the Director of Community Relations for Better Business Bureau Serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB). In her role, she oversees community engagement and outreach efforts for BBB’s campuses in Phoenix, Prescott, Yuma and Lake Havasu City. She also serves as the Spanish spokesperson for the organization and leads Hispanic initiatives, as well as marketing efforts. Through her role, she empowers communities to take advantage of resources offered by nonprofits, such as BBB, to make their lives better.
Prior to joining BBB, Myriam built international relations with post-secondary institutions to expedite document processing, and developed marketing strategies for a Hispanic advertising agency. Myriam holds a Bachelor’s in marketing and advertising from Northern Arizona University and a certificate in nonprofit management from Arizona State University.
Myriam enjoys volunteering, reading and spending time with her family and bulldog Frida. She is part of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc., an organization that promotes higher education among women of color.
