Pam Brooks is an Organizational Development Consultant for the Leadership and Workforce Development unit at ASU. She previously spent 14 years as an ASU faculty associate teaching various courses in communication, from small group and interpersonal communication to organizational communication and public speaking. At the same time, she maintained her own business as a private consultant and human performance specialist working in large and small companies worldwide.
Pam helps people understand how to bring their strengths and passions to what they do. She has conducted a wide variety of training programs in different settings, from large in-person trainings and offsite ropes courses to live workshops and webinars. These programs help participants raise their awareness levels to find ways to break away from their ordinary routines to create extraordinary performance.
In addition to her master’s degrees in organization and interpersonal communication and counseling, she is certified on many different forms of assessment from DISC, Motivation and Judgment to Conversational Intelligence and TIGERS Team Survey. She uses her 24 years of experience, resources, and training to help promote growth in individuals, teams, and departments.
Maintaining Resilience in a Fast Paced World
This is a practical hands on workshop that will not only highlight what research is saying about people who are resilient and what they do, but provide a practical self-evaluation for each person to assess their present resilience and give them some specific ideas of what they can do to improve. Despite how crazy life can get, it is possible to maintain focus and build resilience to get more enjoyment out of life.
